Our story
Good Bar Soap Sydney is a small Australian social enterprise offering 100% natural, vegan and palm oil free soaps and eco-friendly accessories. Born from a desire to create natural skincare for our family who suffer from eczema and psoriasis.
Our business started from my soap making as a fervent hobby to create useful, natural products and reduce plastic use. Now it is a promise to provide sustainable and nourishing skin care that is natural and pure.
We are inspired by nature and the beauty and healing properties found in flowers and herbs. And we grow all the botanicals that are used to make our soaps. Our workshop is located in beautiful Southern Sydney, Australia.
Our ethos
Good Bar Soap Sydney was built on living an intentional, sustainable and community minded life.
Intentional
We handcraft our soap in small batches and we invite our customers to use products that are natural and pure and free from synthetics, dyes and plastics.
Sustainable
Our soaps are 100% natural gentle and suitable for sensitive skin types. All our soaps are palm oil free, vegan and cruelty free. We avoid single use plastics wherever possible. We wrap our soaps in recycled paper which means your entire packaging can go straight into the recycling bin.
Community minded
As an independent, female owned social enterprise, we have the freedom to support causes we believe in and to impact the world in a positive way. We are committed to using soap made from good ingredients to do some good for the community and put people before profits.
Our mission
At Good Bar Soap Sydney, we are committed to work with and serve females facing homelessness or hardship through our Community Bar Program.
$1 from every limited edition Community Bar sold goes to our Good to our Give partners who support women facing hardship or homelessness across Australia.
Our community bar program is a way for us to support Australian not for profits and charities that support women experiencing homelessness and hardship.
